Add-on options for each PC purchased can be selected below. Note that the Dell Optiplex GX270 and HP/Compaq dc5000 SFF PC’s all use IDE hard drives. Thus, if upgrading the hard drive for either of these units, there is only the 250GB IDE option avialable. All other systems will use the SATA hard drive multiple upgrade options. Please select carefully. Additional memory upgrades for the Dell OptiPlex GX270 & HP/Compaq dc5000 SFF computers can be ordered by request only. The systems can install up to 4GB of memory, but will read only 3.0gb – 3.5gb in the system configuration in windows by compatibility measures of 32-bit OS capabilities.

Terms of service and delivery for all refurbished computers:

The price of all computers is based service labor hours to fully execute the refurbishing process for computer reuse and distribution. All systems have Windows XP Professional SP3 installed as a base OS that was originally licensed to each computer. Thus, no extra charge for our installing that OS on the hard drive. However, Windows 7 Professional can be installed, if desired, at an additional charge of the license for each computer. Please see the drop down selections for pricing. (NOTE: Dell OptiPlex GX270 PC’s should not run with the Windows 7 Professional upgrade using the onboard video card due to compatibility issues with screen resolution sizes. As a result, we have installed an AGP video card upgrade in each of these computers that provide enhanced screen resolution.) We have also loaded a copy of MS Office 2007 Enterprise from our client’s license that was used in their office operations prior to their request for disposal. Keyboard and mouse are available. No monitor comes with these units, but may be purchased separately through a purchase request to us or other vendor.

If the delivery option is selected upon purchase, the technician will complete the following tasks: Deliver the PC to your location; plug into the wall outlet/surge protector; connect to your internet provider modem/router and test connectivity, if available. All other requests for installing application software, printer, network, or custom user configuration will be charged at the current onsite service hourly rate of $65.00 with a 1-hour minimum.

Hard drive upgrade options selected should allow for 3-5 days delivery time plus re-imaging to be completed after order is placed before we can provide availability to the fully working computer.

Each computer has a 6-month depot hardware replacement only warranty. You may purchase a 3-year warranty at a charge of $120.00 at time of purchase only. If onsite warranty parts replacement is requested, the charge for each onsite visit will be $60.00 per incident.
